Laxmikant Pyarelal: The Film Music Journey Part 1
Laxmikant Pyarelal (L-P) have been the most celebrated Music Directors during the period 1963 to 1998, a massive 35 years of long career. The longest by any other Music Director. They ruled the Hindi Film Industry with their various classical and film based music for more than 635 films. They had the flavour of pure earthy feel and they also had a very international level of symphonic tone in their songs.
After their first musical blockbuster ParasMani and their win of Filmfare award for Dosti they continued for many small budget films which had very classical base making each and every film unforgettable films like Sant Gyaneshwar, Sati Savitri, Raja Aur Rank to name a few. They were in the league of likes as SD Burman, Madan Mohan and their own icon Shanker Jaikishen.
But when Milan hit screens then they were known as a very common household name in the entire country and also NRI's as Lata ji & Mukesh ji used to sing atleast 2 songs from this same film in all their international concerts in USA, UK among other countries. Who can forget the most popular duet song by Mukesh & Lata ji: "Saawan Ka Mahina Pawan Kare Sor"
After this there was no looking back and they were on the list of all prominent film directors and producers. To name a few like Raj Kapoor, Shakti Samanta, Raj Khosla, Yash Chopra, Manoj Kumar, Manmohan Desai & the inimitable V. Shantaram.

लक्ष्मीकांत प्यारेलाल (L-P) 1963 से 1998 की अवधि के दौरान सर्वाधिक प्रसिद्ध संगीत निर्देशक रहे हैं, जो 35 साल के लंबे करियर के दौरान बड़े पैमाने पर है। किसी भी अन्य संगीत निर्देशक द्वारा सबसे लंबा। उन्होंने 635 से अधिक फिल्मों के गीतों के लिए अपने विभिन्न शास्त्रीय और फिल्म आधारित संगीत के साथ हिंदी फिल्म उद्योग पर शासन किया। उनके पास शुद्ध मिट्टी के स्वाद का स्वाद था और उनके गीतों में बहुत ही अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर का सिम्फनी टोन भी था।
अपने पहले संगीतमय ब्लॉकबस्टर पारसमणि और दोस्ती के लिए फिल्मफेयर पुरस्कार की अपनी जीत के बाद, उन्होंने कई छोटे बजट की फिल्मों को जारी रखा, जिनके पास बहुत ही शास्त्रीय आधार था और प्रत्येक फिल्म में संत ज्ञानेश्वर, सती सावित्री, राजा और रंक जैसी कुछ अविस्मरणीय फिल्में थीं। वे एसडी बर्मन, मदन मोहन और अपने स्वयं के आइकन शंकर जयकिशन के रूप में पसंद की लीग में थे।
लेकिन जब मिलन ने स्क्रीन हिट किया, तब वे पूरे देश में एक बहुत ही सामान्य घरेलू नाम के रूप में जाने जाते थे और एनआरआई के रूप में लता जी और मुकेश जी अमेरिका, ब्रिटेन के अन्य देशों में अपने सभी अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगीत कार्यक्रमों में इस फिल्म से कम से कम 2 गाने गाते थे। । मुकेश जी के सबसे लोकप्रिय गीत को कौन भूल सकता है: "सावन का महाना पवन करे सोर"
इसके बाद पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा और वे सभी प्रमुख फिल्म निर्देशकों और निर्माताओं की सूची में थे। राज कपूर, शक्ति सामंता, राज खोसला, यश चोपड़ा, मनोज कुमार, मनमोहन देसाई और अनम्य वी। शांताराम जैसे कुछ नाम।
